We have an request that Amnesty International should investigate the Pakbin family case as soon as possible and relocate them.

Pakbin family (Reyhaneh and Farzaneh, two sisters and mother Tahereh Rashidi) end up stranded outside the UNCHR building in Syria after the forcible disappearance of their father due to human rights activities by Islamic Republic authorities and the daily harassment of the family by the government.

Pakbin family was forced to flee their homeland in 2009 and seek refuge in Turkey, where they were abducted and imprisoned by security agents of the Islamic State. They were raped and tortured in prison.

In 2011, Turkish police illegally deported them to Syria without providing any specific documents. The two sisters who are talented artists and their mother received a blue asylum card from the UN office in Syria and were considered a third Canadian country.

Due to the start of the civil war in Syria and the transfer of the directors of the UN Office in Syria, the case is kept silent and in a state of uncertainty.

They are suffering without the slightest benefit, such as housing, medicine, and basic necessities, with  10 dollars monthly being paid from the UN office in Syria which has been Increased to 30 dollars per month. 

According to Syrian law, they do not have the right to work and rent accommodation , so they are helpless and living in tents.

The mother of the family, Tahereh Rashidi due to high blood pressure and diabetes and lack of access to treatment, unfortunately lost the vision of in one eye completely and the other eye only functions by 50%.

On the other hand, they are harassed on a daily basis by Assad's supporters and opponents, and because they are Iranians, these harassments are doubled.

They have been living in outside the UNHCR office for several months and are practically in front of the buildings cameras. The Syrian are harrowing and threatening them with death on a regular basis.

UN and UNHCR officials in Syria have also turned a blind eye to the family's four-month sit-strike, being monitored by surveillance cameras and doing absolutely nothing to help them relocate.

Under the 1951 UNHCR Refugee Convention these women are all classed as refugees as they have been faced in both Iran and Syria with persecution and risk further persecution. 
We hope that some action will be taken by the UNHCR. 

‏تقاضای رسيدگی هرچه سریعتر سازمان عفو ملل به پرونده خانواده پاکبین واعزام به کشور ثالث ‏خانواده پاکبین (ریحانه و فرزانه دو خواهر و طاهره رشیدی مادر) پس از ناپدیدسازی قهری  پدر خانواده به دلیل فعالیتهای حقوق بشری توسط ماموران امنیتی نظام جمهوری اسلامی و اذیت و آزارهای روزانه حکومت بر خانواده ناچارا در سال ۲۰۰۹ مجبور به ترک وطن شده و به ترکیه پناه می برند که در آنجا توسط کسانیکه خود را مامور حکومت اسلامی معرفی می کردند ربوده و زندانی می‌شوند و درزندان مورد تجاوز و آزار جنسی قرار میگیرند.

در سال ۲۰۱۱ پلیس ترکیه بدون ارائه سند و مدرک مشخصی بطور غیر قانونی آنها را به سوریه دیپورت می‌کند این دو خواهر هنرمند و مادر از دفتر سازمان ملل مستقر در سوریه کارت آبی پناهندگی دریافت و برای آنها کشور ثالث کانادا در نظرگرفته می‌شود.

‏به دلیل شروع جنگ داخلی در سوریه و جابجایی مدیران دفتر سازمان ملل سوریه پرونده مسکوت و در بلاتکلیفی قرار می‌گیرد.

آنها بدون دریافت کوچکترین مزایایی چون مسکن و دارو و درمان و امکا نات ابتدایی اندک حقوق ماهیانه ۱۰ دلار که از محل دفتر سازمان ملل در سوریه پر داخت می‌شد ‌با رنج فراوان زندگی می‌کنند (نا گفته نماند که قرار است از ماه اکتبر سالجاری از ۱۰ دلار به ۳۰ دلار افزایش یابد).

با توجه به اینکه طبق قانون سوریه آنها حق کار و اجاره مسکن را هم ندارند لذا  ناچارند . در خرابه های بجای مانده از بمباران  در چادر زندگی کنند. مادر خانواده به دلیل ابتلا به فشار خون بالا و دیابت و نداشتن دسترسی به درمانمتاسفانه بینایی یک چشم را کاملا و چشم دیگر را ۵۰ درصد از دست داده. از طرفی هم انها بطور روزانه مورد آزار واذیت طرفداران و مخالفین اسد قرار دارند وچون ایرانی  هستند این آزار  و اذیت‌ها بطور مضا عف انجام می‌گیرد در صورتیکه آنها ۴ ماه است  در مقابل دفتر سازمان ملل به تحصن نشسته اند و عملا در دیددوربین‌های سازمان ملل هستند سوریها آنها را تهدید به مرگ می‌کند. ‏مسئولان سازمان ملل در سوریه هم  چشم و گوش خود را به تحصن ۴ ماهه اینخانواده  بسته اند و در مقابل ساختمان سازمان ملل که با دوربین های ناظر و شاهد اذیت و آزارهایی که نسبت به آنها روا داشته می‌شود را می بینند و عکس العملی ‌نشان نمیدهند. ‏امضا کنندگان این پتیشن خواهان رسیدگی هرچه سریعتر به پرونده خانواده پاکبین و اعزام به کشور ثالث توسط سازمان ملل هستند.
