Donating to a water scarcity solving organization could help limit water scarcity and save lives. This would help the food issues, illnesses, and economic status' of many developing countries. Many children are affected even before birth by water scarcity, leading to long-term health issues and conditions. Some organizations build wells, pumps, and pipes for public use in these regions, donating would help extend their care. A good organization that I suggest could be Charity Water. Charity Water accepts donations and as of May 2021 have 70,000 projects in 29 countries. Solving this issue is of top priority, this is due to the 785 million people who do not have access to clean water. I care about this issue because my church goes to developing countries to spread the gospel, build churches, and help people with water and food issues. I've learned from them that it is harder to solve than to just hand over bottled water. People need access to permanent water, and while my church tries its best, none of them are engineers. I understand that I personally can't build wells on my own too. That's why I'm donating to those who can. I'm also spreading this information because many don't realize the effect water scarcity has. I appreciate you for at least reading this far, even if you don't donate, having people informed is one of my goals.
