Let us designate the year 2020 as the International Year of Eye Health. This is the best year for it - because 20/20 vision is a term used to express perfect visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision.) What will this designation accomplish? This will help increase the awareness of Eye Health. Especially in the developing countries where it lacks the most. This designation by the United Nations will influx more interest in this area for research and development & for underdeveloped countries. Such funds can benefit this important organ of ours now and in the future. Please sign the petition now.
