Declare 1984 anti Sikh massacre and 2002 anti Muslim violence as acts of state terrorism.

The anti Sikh massacre engineered by the Indian government in 1984 following the assassination of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards had left thousands of innocent people dead across the country. 35 years have passed but no justice has been served. This massacre was no less than an act of state terrorism by an elected government against its own people and had set a precedent for similar acts of state sponsored violence against other minority groups in years to come. The anti Muslim violence in Gujarat in 2002 was a repetition of 1984. Therefore, we demand that both pogroms be declared as acts of state terrorism and those involved be tried under anti terror laws. The governments across the world must freeze the assets of the individuals and the organizations involved. Also, these individuals be denied right to travel outside India.
