United Nations: BAN Trophy Hunting. STOP Poachers. END Imports.
Ban International Travel for Hunting.
More than 7,500,000,000 (billion) humans on Earth.
Two-thirds of all Animal species are being wiped out. 100,000 elephants killed in the last 3 years is one example of pointless killing for greed. Many species with once robust populations reduced to a few thousand, a few hundred or even fewer than one hundred. Human-kind is rapidly destroying the natural world in a blood-soaked pursuit of greed, power, ego and stupidity.
We are witnessing The Great Animal Extinction, an animal holocaust caused entirely by soulless humans and ignorance. Tigers, elephants, bears, rhinoceros, wolves, leopards, jaguars, cheetahs, gorillas, orangutans, so many birds, are on the brink of extinction in a few years; the list is frighteningly long. Wild animals we love are being slaughtered on a massive scale and at a terrifying rate of destruction. Extinction is forever!
Extinction is FOREVER!
EXTINCTION IS FOREVER!!!
Natural habitat destruction, climate-change and greed are BIG problems, but the worst and most grotesque offenders are poachers and trophy hunters. These killers are an appalling example of human greed and mental sickness. Aided by companies that profit from killing these beautiful creatures, they are devastating once healthy populations. These businesses & clubs are lobbying governments to let them break the law by importing exotic animals and their body parts. They must be stopped Now!
We must act right now!
Because there is little time left to save the Earth's great land and sea animals. Actions taken by organizations and individuals have helped but are no longer enough to stop the massacre. We must act today, we must tip the balance for the animals! WE MUST BE THEIR PROTECTORS.
What will the world look like if you do nothing?
Please sign the petition and share it with everyone. It will be hand delivered to the United Nations.
The animals thank you. Mother Earth thanks you. I thank you.
Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, United Nations
Dear Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, United Nations,
We propose a complete ban on international travel for the purpose of hunting, poaching, buying, selling, giving, or transporting wild animals and/or their parts.
Populations of wild animals around the world are plummeting.
Endangered, threatened, or any at risk wild species must have additional protections in the country of origin. Expansion of species would be the only exception to the transport ban.
This ban includes animals having been raised in captivity for the purpose of being executed, also known as "canned hunting". All poaching should be considered a grievous crime with serious criminal consequences. The poachers and those that profit from the poaching must be prosecuted with severe punishment.
Some progress has been made by excellent organizations devoted to protecting Earths wild creatures, but we know this is no longer enough to overcome the dramatic and rapid rate of decline in so many species. It is reversible ONLY IF WE TAKE ACTION NOW!
Travel restrictions would apply to people, equipment, and weapons, or any gear associated with hunting. Include all transport of animals or animal parts, or the purchase/sale/transfer of them. We propose a complete ban of any and all companies that promote or sell travel for the intention of all hunting, trapping, transporting etc. endangered or threatened species or any species at risk, and including any wild animal.
The human world must consider the consequences of inaction and what will the Earth look like without its remarkable and fragile wild animal populations. We cannot waste years of pointless bickering and ineffective leadership, we demand action from all world leaders to protect all wildlife now!
You must act...
You must act quickly...
We are witnessing the complete annihilation of Earths animals. This is completely unacceptable.
