Kindly support the campaign for  arrest and prosecution of the armed persons who  killed 3 police men in the line of national duty in Taraba State, Nigeria. In addition , demand immediate detention of the kIngpin kiidnapper released by the  armed forces.

There must be sanctity of life in Nigeria and perceived offenders must be arrested and prosecuted not killed extra judicially. 

Armed forces by constitution should secure the Nigerian borders and suppress insurrection, however,  the Nigerian military has been facing Boko Haram insurgency  for 10 years without suppression. Further,  some members of the armed forces in Taraba State launched a brutal attack on "suspected" kidnappers who were actually police officers on fully approved  mission  without  informing the  Police  force and killed the Police men, but freed the person they had arrested,

The killing of the Policemen shows how ordinary civilians also would and could be killed extra judicially  for "suspected crimes by military personel who have no primary duty of policing the state.

it is even more distressing that the said armed persons released the the kingpin kidnapper, the policemen had arrested and were transporting to Abuja.

The break down of the normal processes  and perceived involvement of armed forces in defeating the aims of the Nigerian Police  Force to improve security within Nigeria, during this period of  insecurity of lives  demands swift response and prosecution of all offenders.
