We have an epidemic that is needlessly claiming the lives of our youth every day and it can be prevented!  SafeBeat is a 501c3 foundation with a mission to “Screen Hearts, Save Lives” and create a healthier generation!  We provide preventative heart screenings to public middle/high school children and it is for all active children…not just the registered athlete. Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the #1 killer among young student athletes and on school campuses of which most cases can be prevented!  According to American Heart Association, there are approximately 7,000+ needless deaths every year between the ages of 6-18 due to sudden cardiac arrest!  SafeBeat is the answer to help reduce these needless deaths.

SafeBeat was born out of love and honor for our Founder’s son Marc. Jayne Vining’s precious little boy passed away from an undetected congenital heart defect. Our 501c3 Foundation started to help keep families from suffering the pain and loss Jayne had to experience. Families should not be suffering the loss of a child due to detectable and often treatable conditions that lead to SCA. It is our mission to provide high-quality preventative heart screenings to middle school, high school, and college students to reduce sudden cardiac death in youth by detecting these underlying conditions before they become fatal. SafeBeat is setting the gold standard in preventative heart screenings in America's youth through innovation, education, and strategic partnerships.
