Saving Xavier, United Health Care denies life saving drug for Muscular Dystrophy.

My son, Xavier, has been in a drug trial four years.  Four years, 96 infusions, 4 surgeries later, and look at that smile!!  Exonyds 51 is helping his muscles to work properly. This is proven miraculous every day. In 2010 his neurologist told me Xavier had a life expectancy of about 21 years. But before he passes he won't be able to move a single muscle, lifting a fork to his mouth, using the restroom. He would die of heart and/or respiratory failure. Watching your son die a slow death every day, watching his frustration, and there is nothing you can do.

Only 7 years later, I find out, no, my son will live a long, strong, happy, healthy life. I ask God to intervene for everyone involved who are attempting to take the only chance away from our sons. WE ARE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY WARRIORS, NOTHING WILL STOP US. I pray for healing for all.

Today we received sad news that United Health Care will not cover this new, life saving drug.  Please help to save Xavier's life!!
