Unitarian Universalist Association, Multicultural Growth and Witness staff: It's time to talk with Leather & Grace

From the bestselling "50 Shapes" trilogy, to debate over proposed changes in psychiatry's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, BDSM and kink have gained wider mainstream attention.
Despite this, the Unitarian Universalist Association - a progressive faith movement of over one thousand congregations, and one of the first to call for an end to discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation - has hesitated in joining in this discussion and addressing discrimination against kinky people, even within their own ranks.
While many concerned UUs have started and joined the organization Leather & Grace, to promote greater education and awareness about BDSM/kink/fetish sexuality, the UUA's Multicultural Growth and Witness staff group has refused repeated offers to meet with its leaders and discuss various issues and concerns.
Please join us in calling on Annette Marquis, LGBTQ and Multicultural Program Manager, to begin dialogue with Leather & Grace's leadership on how the UUA can take yet another progressive step towards understanding sexual diversity.
