Unisa has started  uploading assignments on the My Unisa platform  with only a small window before their due date. Previously, assignments were published in tutorial letters and were made available upon the finalization of one's registration.

A large group of people have opted to study at UNISA due to it's flexible nature. People with commitments plan their studies around their busy lifestyles.

The availability of assignments upon finalization of registration meant that one could allocate enough time to assignments as well as exam preparation,  whilst still fulfilling other commitments.

Adding to this is the change of many modules from semester modules to year modules. Students are struggling to keep up.
