Child abuse is not a new issue in Malaysia. From the newspaper, we will find that the number of child abuse cases in Malaysia continue to increase.

Children are God's gifts to every couple but some are not really grateful. It's really shocking that child abuse are done by parents and maids that are supposed to be the ones protecting. We need to stop child abuse because children's
well being is important for our country's future.

In conclusion, child abuse is a really serious issue. Child abuse will leave a shadow to his or her life. Our hands are used to comfort children, not to beat or hurt them. We as the society need to stop child abuse. Every children has a right to live happily without abuse.

1. Report. If you witness a child being harmed or see evidence of abuse make a report to your state's child protective services department or local police.

2.Parent need to examine their behavior. Abuse is not just physical. Both words and actions can inflict deep, lasting wounds.

3. Be a nurturing parent. Parents use their actions to show children and other adults that conflicts can be settled without hitting or yelling.
