Stop Anthyodaya Express train at dist HQs

0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,000!

The 16355/16356 Kochuveli - Mangalore overnight biweekly anthyodaya express train starts it's operation from today Saturday 9 June. This train aimed at the poorer sections of the society is unfortunately is given stoppages only at 7 stations in Kerala same as the very long distance semi luxury all AC Rajdhani Express. We bring to your kind notice this train covers around 600 km only and hence in a densely populated state like Kerala it should have stops at least at district headquarters or nearby stations. This all second class sitting train has 16 coaches and hence will have around 1400 seats. It would be a boon to the passengers if at least 6 of the sitting coaches are replaced with sleeper class ones as the train travels overnight. We also request that this train may be provided stops at district headquarters of Kasaragod , Alappuzha and at Tirur (the nearest station to Malappram)
