CBSE Boards decision to stop moderation with immediate effect

The CBSE board has decided to stop moderation of marks which was a prevalent practice for all students who appear for Board exams starting this year. This has been agreed with a lot of other state boards. However there are two issues with this. One is that there is no guarantee that other state boards will follow suit. if they dont CBSE students will suffer with lower marks. Secondly and more importantly, this decision should apply from next academic year and not the current year students because the decision to do so was taken after the board exams concluded this year and since this was not communicated earlier it is extremely unfair to the students who took this years board exams. Request everyone to support this petition so that the decision can be rolled back and can be implemented from next year. The Delhi High Court too has taken a strong view and has objected to this decision and termed it unfair
