Subject: Revising and Decreasing the Cut off Marks in NEET PG – Don’t Decrease qualifying Criteria In NEET PG 2017.
Respected Sir,
We the Junior Doctors and PG Aspirants of various states including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are against the decrease in Cut off Marks in NEET PG 2017. As we recently aware from News Papers that The Honorable Health Minister, Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh approached you to decrease Cut off marks in NEET PG 2017. We are against this move to decrease cut off marks in all states including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We strongly believe that this cut off decrease is to benefit the Private and Deemed Colleges to hike the course fee. Honorable health Minister of Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh stating that there is no candidates to take seats from Service quota without releasing any data regarding the already qualified students in the state. Till now there is no correct data available about the qualified students in various categories (Including service Category and Other individual BC categories) in NEET PG 2017 as NBE was not taken any data regarding this. In NEET PG 2017 qualified candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh more than the previously conducted AP PG Entrance. The state Govt. move to decrease is for only for the benefit of Private colleges in the state. If the Union Ministry and MCI is ready to decrease NEET PG qualifying criteria there is no use of conducting a national level exam like NEET PG. Make a rule that Minimum Eligibility is must in NEET PG for taking any PG seat.
We are requesting you to please consider our request and Don’t Decrease the Qualifying Criteria for NEET PG 2017. If any seats are vacant at the end of final round Of counseling then the remaining seats should be filled on basis of Open Merit and it should be purely based on NEET PG merit list.

Thanking You sir,

Yours Faithfully,

PG Aspirants & Junior Doctors
