Make drugs, medical disposables, gadgets & medical bills cheap

Recently, NPPA reduced the prices of cardiac stents by about 80%. Like these, many essential drugs, different types of medical disposables used by all doctors, and the gadgets used for diagnosis and treatments by specialists and super specialists are exorbitanty priced and they are very costly to patients.
The manufacturers, distributors and the dealers are getting handsome profits. Marketing prices of these runs usually between 80-100%more than the manufacturing cost. Some times it is 200-300% ! Cunningly the selling prices to patients i.e., M.R.Ps are kept very high, than the distrbutors' prices.
Moreover, prescring doctors and retailers get incentives and gifts, in the form of costly consumer items, free foreign jaunts, ' 100 get 100 free' scheme etc etc.
That's the reason almost all doctors, hospitals have 'benami' medical stores right in their hospital premises.
So the government should empower the NPPA to investigate thoroughly regarding honest manufacturing cost, overhead charges, prices to distributors, hospitals and retail sellers, of each different items and then after keeping the prices to patients at 30% above the manufacturing cost. This should be reasonably divided between manufacturers, distributors, hospitals/retail sellers.
Paying of incentives in any form should not be allowed, either to doctors or to sellers.
This will result in patients getting the medical care at cheaper rate!
