Many of us have been having online classes for most of the year. We already did Term 1 Offline and now New variants of COVID-19 are emerging that are more transmissible. Students are facing massive pressure. We have stayed online for about most of the year. We now have to complete 50% of syllabus in 60 days. Moreover, we now also have to focus on finishing our record notes on practical works when we barely went to a lab for a practical session. We have to write up Classwork and submit them for marks. Moreover, the safety of Students is at risk. Health Experts may say we are safe but COVID-19 can mutate in any way. Imagine if 1 student unfortunately tests positive for covid. The trauma he has to go through might be overwhelming for them. Moreover, many students still fear the safety of ourselves. Still now, because of COVID protocols, Teachers are segregating classes by strength and this strains the potential time we get to learn. Teachers now have to split classes into 2 and students are left with lesser time to learn. In addition, we have got very less exposure into these new formats. Moreover, While CBSE may say conducting online exams may result in students resorting to unfair practices, There have been several complaints and first hand statements by students saying that some students cheated and shared answers in term 1 exam. Since CBSE did appoint School staff as invigilators, they turn a blind eye to these. Just because you think some students might cheat in online mode doesn't mean all will. Trust students for better results.

Thus, we ask CBSE and Education Ministry to reconsider their decision to hold CBSE Term 2 Board Exams offline and ask them to instead hold a referendum with students on this matter and possibly change mode of examination to an online one for the ease and safety of students.
