Union County public schools has failed our facilities department by continuing to pass maintenance and custodian workers time and time again for a raise! It's time that we as parents, partners, and employees to speak up and make a positive change for those who have spent countless hours to maintain and clean these schools! 

These 12 month employees don't get the appreciation and recognition that they so desperately deserve! Morale is low amongst these trades. Many pursuing different trades, or careers for more money. Who does this leave to clean our schools that we depend on to send our children to? Who does that leave to maintain the plumbing, HVAC and electricity? 

The answer is clear. Nobody. Union County public schools can't continue down this path of underappreciating these essential staff.. 

Together we can speak up for these unsung heroes of our schools!
