Petition to STOP Warehouse development: Hall Road & Highway 92! #NOMOREWAREHOUSESONSFPWY

The Residents of Union City, the City of South Fulton, Chattahoochee Hills, and their perspective business communities do not want a warehouse (est. 500k+ SQ FT) at the intersection of Campbellton Fairburn Highway (HWY 92) and Hall Road. The impact that this warehouse will have on local residents, schools in the area (Renaissance Elementary, Renaissance Middle, and Langston Hughes High School), local churches, and businesses is not a prudent use of land, taxpayers’ funds, or the health and well-being of the citizens in that area.
Traffic is already a major concern and issue all along Campbellton Fairburn Highway (HWY 92) (see article) especially at the intersections of Jones Road, Hall Road, South Fulton Parkway, and Thompson Road. Residents are unhappy with the Warehouse being built at Mason Road (see article) and South Fulton Parkway along with many of us who were against the Wal-Mart Warehouse off Derrick Road (2 Million SQ FT+).
So we the homeowners, students, and businesses in this area are letting our voices be heard: Not now and not ever! Let’s make common sense economic development in our community and stop going for the low-hanging fruit!
We The People want to decree to Union City City Council, Mayor Vance Williams, and their developers that we DO NOT want this proposed warehouse and that we are open to working on positive economic development for our area!
