What do you think about healthy lifestyle and well-being?

Healthy lifestyle and well-being is very important in our life. There are many types of chronic diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, Obesity, Malaria, Tuberculosis (TB) & more. Currently, we are facing another disease since 2019 : Covid-19 is caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome. All these diseases cause serious population health issues. During this covid-19 pandemic some of us definitely eat a lot of foods while another some were suffering for help to ensure their daily life. Covid-19 is spreading human suffering, destabilizing the global economy and changed the lives of many people around the world.

What are the causes of unhealthy lifestyle?

People nowadays didn’t take care of their own health. Lack of knowledge on basic health care causes so many health issues such as didn’t take  enough water intake to keep body hydrated, unhealthy food dietary such as high in fats and lack of exercises to keep healthy lifestyle. Poorer health outcomes effects their lifestyles too such as lowering annual earnings because of sickness and diseases. Moreover, 30 percent of people are suffering due to lack of social protection. In addition, in 1993 the general assembly Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women but more than 20 years later 1 in 3 women still experience physical or sexual violence mostly by an intimate partner. This happens because of choose wrong partners in life or maybe because of mental problems. Furthermore, people aged 30 to 70 years dies prematurely from non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, chronic respiratory diseases, diabetes or cancer. Many peoples are suffering in mental health problems due to isolation. Since the enforcement of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), in response to the Covid-19 pandemic records three daily suicides this year up to May. We lose many peoples during this pandemic.

How to live in a good health lifestyle and well-being?

A healthy lifestyle should be begin from their early ages with the supervision of their parents or guardians. As a child grows and travels through adolescence, health habits are either retained or changed by external factors such as hobbies, peers, and personality. We should change the unhealthy lifestyle cycle to a healthy lifestyle. By doing exercise or yoga for 3 or more than 3 times per week will help to manage weight better, reduce risk from heart attack, will have lower cholesterol in our body, and lower the risk of diabetes and cancers. We must eat clean foods such as more fruits and vegetables than eating unhealthy foods. To keep our body hydrated should drink enough waters. Moreover, we should take care ourselves by taking medication or visiting doctors for regular medical check-ups to avoid non-communicable diseases and make our self-aware of health. From here, we can get the outcomes such as improved immune system response, higher pain tolerance, increased longevity, cardiovascular health, slower disease progression and reproductive health.

Our government or health ministers or people whoever concern about health should motivate more by giving health speeches and motivation programs for free; maybe can starts from schools, institutions and so on. Then, also must come up with more activities regarding health. They also should find solution in reducing unhealthy foods in our country. Government must give free or less amount rate to give injections or medications to the peoples who are suffering financially.
