Many students are getting 9 out of 13 exams exemptions on the basis of a bachelors. It is said that it's done under the guidelines of IFAC but we as stakeholders of ACCA who have invested their time and money into this qualification, we don't understand the rationale behind this.

Isn't there any difference between just STUDYING a course and then actually passing an exam. Everyone studies but not all are able to pass the challenging exams regulated by ACCA.

Owing to this obvious logic we have seen many instances where a student after getting exemptions from 9 exams are stuck in Professional level for years, they themselves agree on this.

So basically with this existing system we are trying to say anyone takes admission into a college by paying hefty fee and studies ACCA course and gives small Assignments where they could cheat, where questions are leaked out a day before exam and in some cases where the questions are small MCQs and direct questions. Isn't that just selling the qualification?

We as the ACCA community, stand strongly against this as it will saturate the job market in future. There will be numerous ACCA finalists to grab the jobs and Supply would be much more than the Demand.

All that we want is to ACCA make such a model where even if exemptions are given then also ACCA regulates the exams and not the autonomous universities of India. Whole of this issue was brought forward by Typhoon people and the movement started by them.
