I am a person with a disability and an MPhil student at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi. A couple of days back, I fell down because of uneven roads in the JNU campus. I have been facing multiple issues here because my campus is not disability-inclusive. Sign my petition so that I am not made to feel invisible anymore.

The canteen of my centre is in the basement. There is no lift access there and nor is there a ramp for my wheelchair. Due to this, I have to go to some other place to have my food. As a person with a disability, it really hurts me that I can't access my own canteen. Even to access the library, I face a lot of problems on a regular basis. If you sign my petition then I won't have to depend on my fellow students to help me out all the time. 

The dhabas here are the site of a lot of cultural activities, but they are also not accessible to me. I'm unable to participate in any of the activities because the place around is not wheelchair-friendly. I have written to everyone in the JNU administration regarding this issue but nothing has happened yet. 

I want all the places in JNU to be wheelchair-friendly for people with disabilities.
