Who doesn't reminisce the cherished journey to this rainforest?

At the end of a bamboo- lined path off the Athirappilly Road, there is a beautiful view of the Chalakudy River. A little away ahead it plunges abruptly down, creating an extraordinary billow of white froth.

The government is so keen on destroying this natural marvel.

Lets remonstrate this move. Let's not lose the jaw-dropping view of the magnificent Athirappilly Waterfall.

Whom for they are on an urge to build a dam?

We shall not let these uncivilised barbarians to spoil our nature- our only mother.

I stand by those whoever oppose this move for whatsoever reasons.

The rainforest boasts of a diversity unlike any other. We Keralites refer to our state as "God's own country" ! We enjoy wet and maritime tropical climate because of such iconic natural existence, it's flora and several biodiversity.

It's a fertile land with numerous mountainous peaks, and when monsoon clouds encounter these peaks to give us many small monsoon-fed rivers. Hence it's a protected zone, a home to numerous species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians and was declared a World Heritage Site.

What right these unscientific and uneducated category have to do with our nature???
