Resignation of the Minister of Education of Mauritius

Resignation of the Minister of Education of Mauritius
Some students who took part in SC exams in the year 2021 are now been boycotted from the Education system to pursue further studies. Exceptionally, this year some papers have been cancelled due to covid 19 pandemic and torrential rainfall and as a result, the proportionately calculated overall English paper and Arabic paper result does not reflect the potential of the students which is unfair. Unfortunately, there are students who committed suicide too.
The Minister did not cater for students from all walks from life during the covid 19 pandemic where the online teaching strategy does not account for late developers.
The Education system has become a high financial burden on students rather than an opportunity to rise. In the aftermath of the depreciation of the Mauritian rupee, there has been an increase of 198.45% on the fees of the sc papers. Based on the actual minimum wage in the country, the cost of basic and compulsory level of Education might be unaffordable to the majority of the students , violating their Educational rights.
We are now demanding the instant resignation of the minister of Education Mrs Dookhun leela Devi for her incompetent decisions and her lack of transparency.
