understand were my food is coming from
Whenever you buy food its good to know what is going through your body. Some questions you could ask are: was this animal free range? Is this bought from a local farmer? Those are two very simply answered questions, and can make such a difference! Free range means that when that chicken, cow, pig or whatever animal was alive it was being treated well. It wasn't in a cage it's whole life. If your food is free range it will say so on the packaging. Next is buying from a local farmer. It's good to check to see what country your food is coming from. This goes into polluting the planet. Do you know how much gas it takes to get food shipped all the way across the ocean, or over some country's? A lot of gas! Buying localy is much beter!
