There are many sanctions against individuals who support war in Ukraine, or authoritarian regime in Russia and Belarus.

What we suggest is to target with sanctions the people, who are involved in  Russian propaganda propaganda and information war. We mean IT specialists, technicians, employees of "troll factories" and other " soldiers", who are critical for execution of information war and propaganda activities.

What we ask for:

• Sanction individuals who are
  • personally involved in supporting Russian propaganda
  • Employed by agencies, organizations which are involved in information warfare, propaganda, including state news agencies
  • Personnel and organizations who provide technical support for those activities
• Target their ICT infrastructure by
  • Sanctions of equipment supply, selling to those individuals
  • Example of equipment is cameras, routers, communication equipment, computers, software which can be used for aforementioned activities.

Such an action may drastically reduce the motivation of the individuals to participate in supporting aggressive actions, propaganda and information warfare, reduce their capacity to do so and may result in a powerful and quick results, which make the peace closer.
