Protecting the students comes first, then teaching... Mike Adams, puts himself first and needs to get his priorities straight or he should be removed.

Mike Adams represents a logical voice of opposition to the free flowing ideas that exist. Stop being a bitch and listen to differing view points rather than creating a petition to silence them. I'm a Democrat and do not agree of vote with his policies but do have the ability to listen and converse with an individual with opposing ideas. You just sound like your asshole is too small.

What he did was reprehensible. He should not have published the student's name. Shame on him!

There is no place in our community for such a hateful, abusive man. If my children are going to go to UNCW, he had better not be there.

I'm signing because I am a proud alumni. Because of ancient tenure policies, this man continues to be employed and preach hate year after year. I exercise my right to reject his hateful character, now by withholding future donations. What a shameful representative of our university.

As a UNCW alumni I assert that Mike Adams' actions do not represent the principles of tolerance and inclusion that I was expected to uphold while enrolled at the school, which I practiced and saw upheld by my fellow Seahawks every day of my college career. I sincerely hope that my alma mater still upholds these principles, and as an influential part of our local, state and national community I expect the university to take a stand against this professor's actions. As a professor he should be held to a professional standard and not engage in this sort of childish, public attack on a student. I hope and expect that the university will set an example and make it clear that they will not tolerate professors publicly insulting students and debasing their own character. This is indeed a shameful occurrence and I hope the university can rise above these actions, take a stand and exemplify the principles it expects of its students.

No educator should say such demeaning things like this to a student.
