The soccer goals at the Strom Fitness Center fields are always chained together, stopping them from being used. They are only ever unchained for big events, such as people renting the field; otherwise, they stay on the field completely useless. There are many groups of people that enjoy coming to the field for pickup soccer, but since the goals are inaccessible, they are often forced to play with shoes as goal posts. 

There is absolutely no point in locking up the goals; they are too large to steal, and every single other middle school, high school, and university have theirs open to the public. These goals are not even open to the students who pay thousands of dollars every year and directly fund the goals. 

The Campus Recreation Administration have the power to reverse this decision, and it is very important to contact them to achieve this objective.
