Hello Students, Faculty, and Alumni,

As you all may know, Dr. Bright has been named the Associate Dean of Admissions at ECU's Brody School of Medicine. While we are all excited for Dr. Bright's new role, we must preserve the legacy of the Office of Special Programs (OSP). To this end, Dr. Bright has recommended that Claudis Polk step into the position of Interim Director, and Lisa Long for the position of Interim Associate Director. Ultimately, our goal is to have both Mr. Polk and Ms. Long serve in these roles permanently due to their expertise of program dynamics, and their ability to form substantive relationships with students. We must work as a collective to ensure OSP is equipped with capable and caring leadership during this transition.
