This statue is a form of hate speech being forced on the students of UNC, and this woman was seeking to protect herself and her fellow students from the ABUSE of having this racist statue displayed on their campus.

She didn't steal or destroy anything. What exactly constitues a "misuse" of an anti-American monument? This is an absurd allegation that, at a minimum, holds a penalty wildly out of proportion with the "offense".
