CULTURE OF GANG RAPES MUST BE STOPPED!
 
Rapes & Gang rapes in the sub continent is an everyday occurrence.  We cannot tolerate this violence against women and girls anymore!
 
Recent GANG RAPES OF WOMEN IN THE SUB CONTINENT:
 
BANGLADESH:  MC college, Sylhet :  A woman was brutally gang raped in front of her own husband & police were reluctant to make arrests.   2nd horrific incident in that same college, yet no main stream media covers these. Perpetrators are politically backed and there has not been any known punishments for these crimes.  These rapes and gang rapes have been so normalised that the perpetrators feel that they are above the law. In all cases authorities blame the victims.  Previous to this incident : Tahiya Islam, 13 year old girl grabbed from her home and gang raped by up to 6 men. 2 years on, still no justice. No main stream media covered this either. There are many other rapes and gang rapes that has happened, even inside a Dhaka cantonment - no arrest as of yet! These will continue if the authorities do not take these seriously.
 
INDIA :   19 year old Dalit (formerly untouchable) woman was gang raped & killed by upper class men and police destroyed the evidence by cremating her body.  “The victim's brother said that police officials were putting pressure on the family to cremate her immediately. "When we refused, they took the body in an ambulance and cremated her,". BBC (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-54351744  Even after the Delhi bus gang rape, absolutely nothing has changed. Please google Delhi bus gang rape to see the extent of the horrific incident. Still nothing has changed! Again - this is so common that it has been normalised by society and the world has turned a blind eye to see what is happening.
 
PAKISTAN - A  woman in Pakistan was gang raped in front of her children  & the police blamed the victim. Guardian report “Investigator says woman raped in front of her children shouldn’t have driven alone”

In all these cases all perpetrators are politically back therefore they do no fear punishment because they are being sheltered from the TOP!
 
“Enough is Enough” Sign the petition calling for proper action against the perpetrators. Demand exemplary sentences for those behind the violence.
