Anish Timalsina started this petition to UN Human rights and

Thousands and thousands of young students and other temporary visa holders who returned back to their country for a one month holiday or to meet their family members after long time are still stuck, even after almost one and a half year. We lost all our hopes but still can't give up. Most of us are still paying rents and other bills and our parents are struggling to pay our bills because the pandemic have affected us too. Most of us can't study online because of the time difference, lack of facilities, Internet and electricity connection problems and more. Many of us are fighting with depression already, some young people gave up and took their own lives and most of us are forced to forget years of dedication, energy and money that we worked really hard for. We have lost our fortune but we believe that UN Human Rights will definitely fight for us. This is an inhumane act by Australian government. We don't deserve to be treated like this after paying taxes to the government for years, most of us have valid visa and all the required documents but we aren't even provided with a firm deadline. UN Human Rights is the only hope we have now, Australian government is completely ignoring us. Thank you
