As a community member of entsikeni,I’d like to raise  a point about the roads that we use when going to town (kokstad or Ixopo).It’s been so many years that we’ve been complaining about the roads not getting fixed and our government keeps failing us.We are always voting when it’s election time but our needs as a community are not being delivered.Cars are getting damaged and the roads are no longer safe,especially when it’s raining.I’m speaking mostly on behalf of the teachers,nurses,police,school children  etc that have to use the road everyday to go to their respective workplace or schools.It’s getting very risky for cars to use the road and also taxis that carry passengers everyday to and from town.We are pleading with the government to fix the road for us and carry on with the tar road from Kwadonsumlenzane all the way to Creighton as this road is still a gravel road with no maintenance over the years but we were promised long time ago that the tar road will carry on from Kwadonsumlenzana.The response to this petition will mean so much to the community as we have been crying about this situation for too long now.The sad part about this whole this whole situation is the fact that sometimes children end up not going to school and workers not going to work because they can’t pass some certain areas because of mud and the cars getting stuck.Please sign this petition for the executive mayor of Umzimkulu municipality:Mphuthumi Mpabanga to take action and deliver the services that were promised for our community before we voted to fix our road.
