Most Ukranian refugees looking to settle with UK families do not speak, read or write English yet they are having to complete difficult visa applications in English.

The fact that they are having to jump through so many 'hoops' to gain visas and the delays are well documented. But, why is the UK government making these people that are fleeing or stuck in war zones fill in on-line forms in another language?

Surely, the visa applications and the welcome packs handed out by UK Border Control should be in Ukranian?

Lastly, when visas are granted they are emailed from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office - a government dept that closed in 2020 according to Google - this is beyond belief. These people are scared.
