Nigel Farage and UKIP to give up their pension rights as former MEPs

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

The British taxpayer is being asked, as part of the Brexit 'divorce bill' to pay the EU (in part) to fund MEP's pensions for current and former UKIP MEPs, including the former leader of UKIP, Nigel Farage.

If UKIP truly believe that Britain should not have any links to the European Union then clearly they should relinquish their rights to any pensions as MEPs and refuse to accept payments from an organisation they consistently denegrated and sought to undermine. Asking the British government to give the EU British taxpayer's money so that they can have their European pensions would be the height oh hypocracy, and we ask UKIP to stand by their priciples and refuse their MEP pensions.

Come on UKIP, put your money where your mouth is.
