The Patterson School of Diplomacy (Fall 2020 Cohort) students feel that our graduation regalia should reflect the degrees we are earning as well as our career goals. As the Fall 2020 Cohort, we are petitioning to change the regalia from drab (brown), a commerce related regalia; to peacock blue, a regalia related to public policy and foreign service. This color change is a visual representation, for so many at the Patterson School, of the degrees being earned and our career aspirations coming to fruition.
