Over half a million, just 4%, of the UK's 12 million pensioners, are unfairly and unequally treated because they do not have their UK pensions uprated each year; whilst the other 11.4 Million do. This is blatant discrimination, depriving some British pensioners of their proper retirement income, for which they have compulsorily contributed and is incompatible with the Commonwealth Charter, which states, "we [ in the Commonwealth ] are implacably opposed to all forms of discrimination".
An organisation, the International Consortium of British Pensioners, [ICBP], with members in Canada, Australia and the Caribbean, has been established to oppose this outrageous UK pension policy. Those British expats who wish to assist oppose this UK pension policy and fight for a fair and equal British pension policy for all UK pensioners, are invited to sign this petition and consider helping fund the fight for justice, by joining via their websites either Canada's CABP or Australia's BPiA.
