Anne Davies started this petition to UK Parliament

UK Public money should be given to those companies, big or small, that have helped the UK public and who need help to stay in existence.

We support Government announced plans to assist and support British businesses during the corona virus crisis. Many businesses operating in Britain have tried to minimise hardship and difficulty for their workers but too many large organisations with huge resources have actively avoided their responsibilities both during and before the current crisis and we believe that they do not need or deserve British taxpayers’ money.

We demand that the following companies are barred from receiving public money:

Companies who don’t pay UK tax or pay a minimum amount despite having significant operations in UK.
Have just paid significant dividends rather than supporting employees and operations.
Have private equity owners and/or financially strong owners who are not providing tangible support to their employees.
