It is right that those who expose corruption, thereby protecting the public, should not be made to suffer for having done so. Rules should be applied to safeguard the career prospects of honest whistleblowers.

More crimes are now being committed by agencies because of control and interference by vested interests.

Having been a victim of unfair dismissal for speaking the truth about the National Trust and trying to report my issues through the Charity Commission, I realise only too well, that innocent people lose their jobs when raising concerns. The laws must change to protect them

I was sacked for 'Gross Misconduct' from my position as a Designated Safeguard Lead at an Alternative Learning Provision following a Protected Disclosure I made about serious concerns I had for the health and safety of students and staff. I am claiming unfair dismissal but am struggling to represent myself at an Employment tribunal. It has been a very difficult time and the law needs to change.

Whistleblowers matter.
Regulators, Administrators and Legislators should be held accountable. This is very much required and very much doable. How very surprising that in spite of all the good intentions of protecting the whistleblowers the Regulators, Administration maneuvers using the shield of privacy, legal loopholes and unaccountability. This must end. "Protect" I am sure will never shy away from the difficult task of holding to account all those who have thus far for too long remained unaccountable and unanswerable. All the very best.
Happy Whistleblowing

Whistleblowers need to be protected. They are sometimes the only people how can shine a light on corruption.
