In the UK our road conditions can get extremely bad and effect the safety of road users. In extreme icy and/or snowy conditions rear-wheel drive vehicles are not as strong at driving on the roads as front or four wheel drive vehicles this brings risk to other road users. HGV's should also be taken off the roads in these conditions as their braking distance is extremely extended, this means that if their is some reason for them having to stop the risk of road users around them being harmed is extremely high as the chance of them stopping fast enough is low. Therefore, I believe that HGV's and rear-wheel drive vehicles should be brought off of the road in extreme icy and/or snowy conditions. We should not be putting our road users at anymore risk in these conditions.
