Victims of abuse have been through the most horrific atrocities, they have suffered hell, they deserve justice, they deserve closure, they deserve to heal. The perpetrators deserve to be punished. 

The Government, the justice system and Police forces across the UK do not care about victims of abuse & crime - they do not support them or assist them to feel safe, they certainly do not give them the justice they deserve.

          ‘The government is committed to stamping out all forms of sexual abuse &                 continuing to be a global leader in tackling child sexual exploitation & abuse'. 

HAVE THE GOVERNMENT DONE ANYTHING TO PROVE THAT THEY ARE 'COMMITTED TO STAMPING OUT ALL FORMS OF ABUSE'??  NOT IN MY EXPERIENCE & THOUSANDS OF OTHERS THEY HAVE NOT.   THE REALITY IS THAT THEY DO NOT CARE. 

Vulnerable victims of abuse: physical or sexual and domestic violence, are repeatedly being failed by an archaic, broken justice system. Police forces are NOT 'committed' to supporting victims, they make them suffer horrendously, again and again. South Wales Police have not done anything to support me, I know it is the same for other victims too. 

The Justice system is desperate for reform;-  but that will NOT happen without YOU. Victim's of abuse are losing faith in the Police and the Criminal Justice System, we call on the Government to restore that faith. 

This is a DESPERATE CALL FOR ACTION. The Government are enabling abusers and rapists and fuelling them. They are harnessing a culture of victims that have not had justice. The assailants have been allowed to walk free, and MORE children are at risk of abuse or worse. 

            YOUR CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN AND LOVED ONES. 

LESS than 1% of rape/sexual assault/abuse cases get to court. This is a scandalous failure of those responsible for bringing the perpetrators to justice. These are DANGEROUS ABUSERS AND RAPISTS that the justice system is actively ALLOWING to walk free. 

All I have experienced from South Wales Police and the Justice system is victim-blaming, misogyny, excuses for inaction and no support. I know that people across the UK experience the same. Those abused or sexually assaulted & the children groomed online, live a life of endless purgatory,-  their lives destroyed. In sharp contrast, their persecutors are free, potentially to cause yet more misery and anguish - to hurt another child or do the unthinkable, AGAIN?

The persecutor does not suffer the consequences - they do not suffer pain, anguish, anxiety & crippling CPTSD, nightmares, flashbacks, unable to trust anyone. The perpetrators do not face the day wishing that the pain, anxiety & heartache would stop, especially not if they have got away with their abhorrent crimes that destroy lives. 

The hundreds of thousands of those impacted by abuse in childhood or those affected by DV call on the government, to change the justice system to support victims, NOT perpetrators

We ask the Government to - change the procedures for the investigation of these crimes for ALL UK Police forces. There MUST be robust, specific, mandatory procedural policies in place, no stone unturned, when a case comes to the attention of the Police & Crown Prosecution Service.

Finally, we call on the government to ensure that there are NO juries on cases involving abuse, rape or any sexual violence, particularly historic abuse cases.  The public, ordinary people, do not have the capacity to determine whether a perpetrator is guilty or not. Please make it mandatory for 2 Judges & a qualified psychologist to reside on these cases. CHILDREN'S lives could depend on YOUR actions. 

Great Britain once had a justice system to be proud of. Now it is a scandalous disgrace, a mockery. The Justice system is letting victims of crime down & generating a dysfunctional society with dangerous criminals, rapists and abusers being allowed to walk free with no consequences.
