Stop the supermarkets from selling toothpastes with microbeads

My local supermarket is still selling toothpastes like 'Colgate Total' that contains plastic microbeads for enhanced whitening action on our teeth . So I think it is happenning throughout UK.

It is being highlighted repeatedly on the media that plastic microbeads are entering our sewage system and  getting into the ocean.

In oceans fish and other sea organisms are ingesting these things and they are entering our food chain.

This is  going to have far reaching health implications for all of us.We all have a right to  breathe clean air, drink clean potable water and know what  is getting in our body through the food chain. So when we eat fish or seafood we certainly do not want to eat plastic microbeads.

The manufacturers need to write on the label clearly whether their products contain plastic microbeads.

Kindly sign the petition for this to be discussed in the parliament to save ourselves from what could be possible slow suicide.
