Stop The Government charging disabled blue badge holders to park in hospitals .

This decision is already in trial in many NHS hospitals across the U.K. .

Under the disability Act the blue badge is awarded in order to provide ease of access to every day activities , appointments , that many of us take for granted.

if this is envoked it will not only cause financial difficulties for those whose only income is disability benefit such as those who are unable to work , and require round the clock or majority of the day support and care .

Eledery people who are totally dependant on disabled parking spaces for hospital appointments .

There is no proposal to offer a discounted rate for parking although they may allow an. Hour free ! How genorous .

So it will come to the point where disabled people are unable to use their own transport to and from hospital appointments due to cost , this in turn will have radical effect on the Already rising costs of the NHS as patient transport services will be heavily relied on .

Or the cost will be passed on to local borough councils when taxi fares are claimed for disabled persons to travel to and from appointments . This of course will impact on the council taxes we pay each month .

The disability rights act exists to make disabled people's lives easier , to be able to access all services and experiences any other person would .

With adaptions , reductions , and cost effective ways of doing so , hence the motorbility scheme , carers allowance etc...
