At the moment countless amounts of minors are being sexually assaulted in some form every day. Whether it be rape or catcalling. Minors are still being targeted and people are normalising it.

I was sitting on the tube around a week ago, I was wearing a light blue mini skirt and a tank top (but it shouldn’t matter what I was wearing) a man who was around 50 years old started talking to me. He then started making more sexual comments and started to flirt with me. He then asked my age and I replied with 14. He told me that I looked about twenty and started getting angry with me for being too young and making me feel really uncomfortable. He then went on to talk about how he would protect me and take me around the city. At this point I was very uncomfortable and luckily got off at the next stop. On my way to the tube doors he told me not to leave or he would get angry and then groped me. The thing that upset me the most about this experience was that the whole time he was talking to me and making disgusting comments the other passengers were all listening in on the conversation and watching both me and the man and not one person offered to help. This man was making very sexual remarks about how I looked and my skirt accentuating my body and even when i gave some worried looks to a mother with her two children she did nothing and just sat there. That’s when i started to worry that I was being dramatic or unfair. But after thinking about it, the problem is that it’s now seen as a normal thing to be treated like this as a minor and with the offender knowing your age.The sad truth is that worse things happen to so many girls and they feel like they are being dramatic or just are too scared to do anything. So please if you haven’t already sign this petition.
