It is immoral how a director of company is allowed to liquidate a company owing thousands to creditors and open a brand new company the following day with a clean slate without full investigations by companies house to satisfy themselves this is a genuine case. I have recently had dealings with a company with one sole director who has left 11 other families in debt and has even taken money whilst going through liquidation and not completed building works, including myself and has swiftly moved onto opening a brand new company to start again with a clear slate.  It also has become apparent this is a regular occurrence from this trader as through research has become apparent this is a common practice and so many hard working people are not supported through company house nor legislation to combat rogue traders.

getting hold of trading standards, companies house and police input has proved problematic and many would lose their way in this mind field of red tape. I have come across the elderly and disabled that have been easily scammed by these people and are unable to represent themselves. It is absolutely immoral and disgusting behaviour and the rights of the general public have not been protected. Also if a director has criminal record record of fraud and served prison time he should not be given a directorship. As a nurse I have a clean record as it is a requirement for my job. All trades should be treated equally and have to declare any criminal records
