Stop bank branch closures - remind them the bailouts were not for nothing!

Local bank branches are closing at an unprecedented pace countrywide. This especially harms the vulnerable and elderly, the digitally marginalized, and adds to 'hollowed out' towns and large villages.
Government makes the case that banks are businesses and this is a business decision. They did not do so when they used unprecedented amounts of public funds and borrowing to intervene to save badly run and failing financial institutions. Are we to think there is no social or moral component to banking? Government is failing the people on this, and once again allowing the banks a latitude they do not deserve.
