I am part of the millions of people in the UK who are part of the self employed community. In the past week we have been given support by the UK Government which is welcome, however we weren't promised that help until June. This means that millions of small business and their families will be struggling with their finances. To this disastrous end, the future of their businesses will be put in jeopardy if this support isn't brought in sooner.

This means that thousands of driving instructors like myself and all those hairdressers, beauty therapists, car mechanics, just to name a few of the many businesses who will no longer be able to offer those services we all love. Services that make so much difference to our every day life. 

Only the UK Government can help us here - they have the means and capacity to accelerate the introduction of the Self Employment Income Support Scheme. Just imagine the consequences for the thousands of small business if we don't get the payment brought forward. Just imagine the consequences of a limited choice of services then available to the UK public.
