I believe it will be very beneficial for children and young adults to be taught sign language throughout there school years. We need to break the communication barriers down so deaf children and young adults have the chance of a normal child hood. I believe that introducing this in all schools will make such a difference and will teach kids it's okay to be different.
It's hard enough to make friends ect at school never mind being deaf and not being able to communicate with children in class or out in the play ground.
Everyone agrees that this should of been on the curriculum along time ago. Some children have been taught some in classes after school and they love it.
My little boy isn't deaf but it upsets me to know he wouldn't be able to communicate with someone who was.
