It wastes to much money and needs to stand on it's own merits.

The BBC is too left wing, I do not wish to be forced to pay for something which I do not watch

The BBC don't even caption live streaming shows on portable devices like the laptop and mobile phone, so why should we Deaf people have to pay for content that's not always captioned? Total rip-off.

TV license is outdated I feel the BBC needs to be brought into the 21st Century by revising its funding stream

Paying just for BBC is stupid. Make TV free for all and the bbc will just have to advertise. I would rather see a few advertisements on the odd occasion I watch bbc than pay £160 per year and I dear say the vast majority would also agree

Because they have no right to this fee I don't watch the BBC so don't see why I should pay.

I don’t watch the BBC. It’s news is biased, and the majority of its content is repeated over and over again. You do not go to the supermarket and expect to be asked to pay for a loaf of bread which is not in your trolley, which you don’t want and which you will not use. Time for the people to have a choice. The BBC already has a commercial arm and sells programming throughout the world. It also provides the World Service free to non licence payers. It is not a service, but a con which we are forced to pay for whether we use it or not.
