Scrap IELTS exams for Nigerians, Ghanaians & Gambians coming to work or school in the UK!
Why this petition matters

West African countries such as Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana and the Gambia with English as their official language are required to take the IELTS exams, to work and school in the U.K. despite this countries being colonised by Britain, and thus having adopted English as their country’s official lingua franca. Both countries are also members of the Commonwealth of Nations.
Nigerians , Gambians, Sierra Leoneans and Ghanians should therefore be exempted from taking the International English Language Testing System, since English language is the medium of instruction across all levels of teaching and learning in all of this countries,.
The cost of the IELTS exams has become expensive in recent times, hence the need for Nigerians , Gambians, Sierra Leoneans and Ghanians to be exempted from same.
