The reason this petition is being born is a reason that effects all of us plastic pollution. Plastic pollution is a dangerously rising problem that will not only effect the older generations but the younger ones who will be living to see the ecosystem's fall. Every year 8 million metric tones of plastic are dumped in our world's ocean and if we don't stop this then by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish. It's not entirely your or my fault but we are all going to bear the burden of other peoples actions if we don't do anything to help prevent plastic pollution.
